Use this leather wrapped feather wand to waft sage, sweetgrass or incense smoke in purification and prayer rituals. This wand is 12″ long.
Feather wands can be placed on an altar to represent the element of air. They are also widely known to aid in cleansing a space or person.
Suggested use:
Can be used during smoke cleansing. Hold your censer, shell, or another fire-safe container with your lighted material in one hand and let the smoke smolder. Holding the leather end, use the feather side to waft the smoke throughout the room or person. If cleansing an individual, start in the front from the bottom on one side and back down on the other. Repeat on the back side.
